Who We Are
My name’s Jesse, and for as long as I can remember, the rivers of West Michigan have been my home. I grew up casting lines on the Muskegon and Grand, learning their currents, their moods, and the steelhead that run them. For over two decades, these waters shaped not only the fisherman I am today, but the person I’ve become.
Five years ago, I turned that lifelong passion into guiding, and I’ve never looked back. Every charter I run is more than just a fishing trip—it’s an opportunity to share the rivers I love, the techniques I’ve learned, and the respect I carry for these incredible fish.
I pour everything into each outing. If the bite is tough, I adapt. If the conditions change, I change with them. I make sure every guest, whether it’s their very first cast or their thousandth, leaves with more than they came for—new skills, deeper understanding, and hopefully, a story of their own to tell.
Catching fish is always the goal, but for me, the real reward is teaching the art of steelhead fishing and helping others experience the rivers the way I do. Even on the days the fish don’t cooperate, I make it count—with learning, laughter, and memories that stick long after the day is done.
